Assists ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians, and physicians.

Job Responsibility

  • Performs routine vision screening.
  • Administers eye medications.
  • Cleans ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
  • Prepares and maintains treatment rooms.
  • Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Job Qualification

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Ophthalmic Technician Certification preferred, plus specialized certifications as needed.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
