Conscious Discipline is seeking a proven, results-driven National Sales Manager to lead sales activities within the preK-12 market segment in the United States.

This role will be individually responsible for driving revenue growth segment in the northern half of the US, while successfully managing and developing the sales skills of other sales development representatives to cover the entire country.

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished team leader with a deep understanding of the preK-12 market, a proclivity to work in a small but growing education company, and a demonstrated track record of growing individual and team sales.

Major Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for the United States that achieves revenue targets, expands market presence, and delivers rapid, sustainable growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the preK-12 education sector through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and networking activities
  • Manage and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including school administrators, district leaders, State Education Agency leaders and educational influencers, to expand market reach and drive sales growth
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales development representatives, providing training, coaching, and ongoing support to enhance their sales skills and performance
  • Implement best practices for pipeline management, sales forecasting, and territory planning to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness across your team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, and product development to align sales strategies with organizational objectives and customer needs
  • Acquire and maintain an in-depth knowledge of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making and sales initiatives
  • Represent Conscious Discipline at industry events and conferences to promote brand awareness, generate leads, and build relationships with current and prospective clients

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven success in preK-12 sales preferably within services or professional development
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing a sales team
  • Historical track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for making a positive impact in education
  • Mission focused and service minded
  • Effective remote leader with the ability to work across different United States time zones
