UX Designer, Public Markets
The Team :
The Enterprise Solutions business within S&P Global Market Intelligence provides buy-side, sell-side, and corporate clients with industry-leading software, data, and services.
The business portfolio offers a broad range of product offerings covering enterprise data management, investment management, loan platforms, regulatory and compliance solutions, and private markets solutions.
Our Public Markets business portfolio comprises products that support the capital formation and investment lifecycle. These include flagship workflow solutions for all capital market participants : corporate clients, institutional investors, and custodian banks.
We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and creative UX Designer to join our team and contribute to the design of key strategic product development initiatives that will significantly unify, integrate, and differentiate the products within the portfolio.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing validated, user-centered experiences that align with business goals and client needs.
We care about the overall user experience and overall client experience, not just the visual interfaces. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and engaging experiences.
Responsibilities and Impact :
- Identify design problems and create elegant solutions.
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations.
- Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions, while ensuring a consistent user experience across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate across design, engineering, and product teams to understand technical and business requirements and ensure the design is feasible.
Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and best practices.
Compensation / Benefits Information (US Applicants Only) :
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,341 to $133,100. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.

What We’re Looking For :
Basic Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process. FinTech knowledge / experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
- Experience utilizing various user research methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing), and translating insights from research to your designs.
- Strong critical and design thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Leadership skills to manage stakeholders and multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and identify / prioritize problems to be tackled based on project needs and timelines.
- Understanding of design systems and component-based design.
- Proficiency in the design tool Figma. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and working with developers.
