The Sarah Neuman Division of The New Jewish Home is looking for a Full Time Food Service Worker to join their team!
Job Summary : This candidate must have general knowledge of food preparation and handling technique; able to execute various food service assignments;
able to work as a team member ,can work independently given the proper direction . Can provide a clean, safe and neat environment for residents, self and staff.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assists in the storage preparation, portioning and serving food.
- Cleans immediate work areas and maintains clean and sanitary work environment
- Washing of small wares and equipment, conforming to all sanitary codes and standards
- Prepares cold foods, salads and nourishment as needed or required
- Performs other related duties as required.
Skills & Requirements
Job Requirements :
- One year experience in Food Service or Food Prep in a health care setting
- Previous geriatric experience preferred
- Shifts are 7am- 3pm,11am-7pm, 3pm-7pm
- Every other weekend offs
