Position Overview :

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing Gastroenterology (GI) team. The ideal candidate will support our board-certified gastroenterologists in providing high-quality, patient-centered care for a wide range of digestive health conditions

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and medical histories.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests related to gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Manage chronic GI disorders such as GERD, IBD, IBS, liver disease, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with GI physicians in outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Perform follow-up care and education for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
  • Provide pre- and post-procedural counseling and medication management.
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR system.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000-$135,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure
