About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 5x8-Hour

Hours per Shift : 07 : 30 - 16 : 00

Experience : Minimum 2 years nursing experience required

License : Pending license okay with submission; must be in-hand prior to start

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS required

Must-Have :

Strong Structural Heart Experience required

TAVR and EPIC experience required

Call required every 3rd weekend

No first-time travelers

Description :

Responsible for providing care in the Cath Lab.

Experience in Cardiac Stent Placement and Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterizations is required.

Perform diagnostic catheterizations in adults.

Set up and manage equipment effectively.

Involve in IABP Placement and Removal.

Conduct interventional cardiac catheterizations.

Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.

Maintain a sterile field and follow sterile techniques during procedures.

Engage with interdisciplinary support teams.

Handle patient diagnoses including AMI, Shock, Valvular Disease, Atrial Fib / Flutter, and Heart Failure.

Participate in special procedures such as IABP, Impella, Shock Wave, FFR / IFR, Penumbra, Watchman, TAVR, ASD / PFO.

Use advanced equipment including 3 Phillips labs, 1 Siemens EP lab, and 1 Hybrid OR.

Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
