R.E.D Trucking & Logistics is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping / controller roles, with a strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and spreadsheets.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the full cycle of accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with all accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Work closely with management to develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders
Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping / controller roles
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and spreadsheets
- Experience with other accounting and billing software is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
