Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are prepped and ready for our chefs to create delicious dishes.
This position requires a passion for food, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in meal preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
- Support chefs with various cooking tasks as needed during service hours.
- Help with menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar food service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
- Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food handling safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional meals.
