FirstFour Staffing is partnered with a reputable firm in Mobile, AL seeking a Paralegal to add to their Medical Malpractice team.
SUMMARY
The Paralegal will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing and filing pleadings in federal and state court
- Organizing exhibits, and medical records
- Summarizing deposition transcripts in preparation for trial
- Gathering and analyzing research data, such as statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, and documents
- Researching and preparing non-party subpoenas
- Helping attorneys prepare for trial
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years' experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal secretary
- Litigation experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with legal research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
