Position Overview :

Installation Lead will be the on-site coordinator for all phases of in-store renovation display projects across the country.

This role requires 100% travel, offering you the opportunity to work in a variety of locations and environments. You will lead a team of 4 to 6 contract workers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your leadership will be critical in maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient worksite, while also building strong relationships with our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Drive project success by managing all on-site activities, from initial setup to final walk-through.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of contract workers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Ensure that all projects meet or exceed quality control (QC) standards established by the client.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and Colony Display business units, serving as a key point of contact on-site.
• Identify potential issues proactively, develop solutions, and collaborate with project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Communicate project updates effectively, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
• Submit accurate timesheets, expense reports, and other documentation to management in a timely manner.

These are illustrative duties, and the job holder will be expected to become involved in a range of work to enable the department to respond effectively to the requirements of the business.

Requirements :

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a carpentry lead role, with proficiency in the tools of the trade.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office and familiarity with mobile devices and apps.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• A valid U.S. driver's license, with a motor vehicle report required for hire.
• Ability to travel 100%, with assignments potentially lasting up to 3 weeks away from home.
• Retail and / or management experience is preferred.
