Embark on a rewarding career journey as a full-time HEZ Community Outreach Specialist (Bilingual) , joining our dedicated Health Enterprise Zone (HEZ) Project team.

In this role, you will focus on community outreach, playing a pivotal role in operating Bebashi's school-based and community pantries.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Participate in community outreach events to refer individuals to the organization's services.
  • Support the operation of school pantries and other external pantry locations.
  • Prepare items for distribution to all external pantries.
  • Assist with the delivery of pantry items, both internally and externally.
  • Assist with unloading and stocking items in internal and external pantries.
  • Assist in ordering pantry supplies as needed.
  • Represent the agency at speaking engagements focused on food insecurity issues.
  • Complete intake forms and maintain accurate data records.
  • Input and manage data using computer software.
  • Attend agency and department training sessions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Employment Type : Full-Time

Bebashi is an essential health agency permitted to remain open during this public health crisis. Bebashi has implemented a Vaccine Mandate in accord with the Philadelphia COVID-19 Vaccination Mandates.

COVID-19 considerations : All staff is provided with appropriate PPE. Staff and Clients receive temperature checks upon entering the building.

There are sanitizing stations throughout the building.

  • Driver's License : Possess a valid driver's license for at least three years with a good driving record.
  • Physical Ability : Capable of lifting at least 30 pounds.

  • Must be able to pass FBI, PA State, Child Abuse clearance background checks.
