Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team.
In collaborative practice with the attending physician, the nurse practitioner will be responsible for providing clinical assessment and patient care management services for the Hematology and Oncology patients.
The NP will be responsible for communication and feedback with patients, families, and referring physicians and will serve as a clinical care extender of attending Hematologist and Oncologists.
Incumbent must be self-directed and function with direct supervision.

Duties :
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- communicate medical information to patients and their families, including giving patients and families an understanding of their medical condition and what they might expect in the future.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Prioritize assignment to complete work in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements :
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Proficiency in performing physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation requirements
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Oncology background as a registered nurse if preferred but not required.
