PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a privately held, fast growing machine manufacturer to source and hire a Electrical Controls Engineer to join their field service team.
The candidate can reside anywhere in the United States as they are required to travel to customer sites for installations and machine repair.
This is a DIRECT HIRE Opportunity!
The Electrical Controls Engineer will assist the lead Electrical & Software Engineer, this position involves completing a variety of manual labor tasks associated with the installation and maintenance of Flexo Folder Gluers and Rotary Die Cutters, including operating machinery, and repair service.
This also includes programming PLC modules.
Electrical Controls Engineer RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists the Lead Mechanical Technician with project planning and completion.
- Installations and service for new and existing machinery.
- Customer service, electrical support, and troubleshooting during and after equipment installations, on and off site.
- Travel to and from various job sites, documenting and reporting status of jobs completed to supervisor.

Electrical Controls Engineer REQUIREMENTS
- Must be willing to learn and do new tasks.
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, and flexible.
- Must be able to problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time.
- Able to work under various weather conditions and heights.
- Minimal Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, & Excel knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related area is required.
- 3-5 years of prior related experience.
