Certification Details
- ACLS required for all RNs except certain units
- BLS required for all clinical positions
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required for specific units
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required for specific units
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course required for the Emergency Department
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring required for L&D
- State License Verification required
- NIH Stroke Certification required for certain RN units
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute required for Emergency Dept only
Job Details
- 36 or 48 hours
- Minimum 1 YEAR CVICU experience REQUIRED (dedicated CVICU staff exp)
- Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
- Will take first time travelers, do not need Ohio license
- For 48-hour contracts, OT is paid after 48 hours
- Open to possibility of block schedule, must work EOH and EOW
- Free gym membership and free parking
- Targeted patient ratios are 1 : 2
Job Requirements
- Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required - must be able to read and interpret strips
- Experience with A-Lines vents drips sheaths dialysis and draw ABGs
- Travel experience preferred
- EPIC experience Required
Schedule Information
- Traveler will be first to float at the discretion of Premier
- If assigned to MVH, may include floating main campus and other nearby campuses
- Traveler must be available to work every other weekend / holiday
- Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract
- The right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine
Unit Specific Information
- Working with Tele / drips / vents
- Unit runs 1 : 2-36 bed unit
- Navy Blue Scrubs required
- Typically runs at a patient ratio of 1 : 2
- Request RTO (Requested Time Off) with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer
