Subcontract Administrator - Grand Prairie,TX

Job Description

You will be the Subcontract Administrator providing support on the Launchers Program (HIMARS, M270 & AME).

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontract Administrator, you will be responsible for the timely placement of Purchase Orders (PO) for a set of assigned suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Release Request for Proposals (ensuring all internal requirements have been met)
• Evaluate supplier proposal submittals
• Negotiate PO terms (e.g. Terms and Conditions, Special Payments, etc.)
• Build PO and route for appropriate approvals
• Supporting new business proposals, post-award contracts execution, and contract closeout
• Managing subcontract tasks such as : preparing bid packages, organizing bidders' conferences, defining evaluation criteria, assessing proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions (e.

g. CorpDocs, Special Payments, etc.), finalizing subcontractor selection, administering subcontracts, and negotiating and completing subcontract modifications

This position is located in Grand Prairie, TX

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Desired skills

• Working knowledge of SAP and / or LMP2P Business Systems
• Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering, as they relate to subcontract management;
• Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools;
• Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination between functional organizations;
