Job Title : Maintenance Technician
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for commercial properties
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems
- Maintain and repair interior and exterior building finishes
- Paint and touch up walls and trim
- Light electrical maintenance for emergency lights, exit signs, lamp sweeps, etc.
- Replace light bulbs and hang banners
- Complete and submit paperwork
- Keep facilities clean in appearance, removing trash as needed
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year college or technical school a plus
- Driver’s license
- Experience working in the trades or adjacent industries preferred
- Ability to read and write in English, including safety rules, equipment manuals, maintenance instructions, standard operating procedures, etc.
Working Environment and Physical Demands :
- Will work in full range of indoor and outdoor conditions
- Will perform some work on scissor / boom lifts and from ladders
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to bend, push / pull, twist, stoop, squat, lift, crawl, and climb
