Senior Financial Analyst

Weare seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Financial ReportingAnalyst to join our finance team. The Senior Financial ReportingAnalyst will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financialreporting budgeting monthend close processes special projects andfinancial planning and analysis (FP&A).

The ideal candidatewill have a strong background in financial reporting budgeting andfinancial analysis with exceptional attention to detail and theability to drive financial performance.

Responsibilities :

FinancialStatement Preparation : Coordinate and oversee the accurate andtimely preparation of financial statements including the balancesheet income statement and cash flow statement.

Ensure compliancewith applicable accounting standards (e.g. GAAP or IFRS) andregulatory requirements.

FinancialAnalysis and FP&A : Conduct comprehensive financial analysisincluding variance analysis to assess the companys financialperformance trends and key metrics.

Prepare financial reports andpresentations for management and stakeholders. Assist in financialplanning and forecasting providing insights and recommendations tosupport strategic decisionmaking.

Budgeting : Lead the budgeting process working closely with department headsand stakeholders to develop and manage the annual budget.

Monitorbudget performance analyze variances and provide explanations andrecommendations to management.

MonthendClose Oversight : Oversee the monthend close process ensuring timelyand accurate completion of financial activities including journalentries reconciliations and accruals.

Review and analyze financialdata to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.

Complianceand Regulatory Reporting : Ensure compliance with all financialreporting requirements including filings with regulatory bodies andother stakeholders.

Stay updated on relevant accounting standardsand regulations to ensure the companys financial reportingpractices are in accordance with best practices.

SpecialProjects : Lead and participate in special projects related tofinancial reporting process improvement and system enhancements.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive projects tocompletion ensuring objectives are met within timelines andbudgets.

ProcessImprovement : Continuously evaluate and enhance financial reportingprocesses budgeting methodologies and FP&A practices toimprove efficiency accuracy and effectiveness.

Identify areas forautomation streamline processes and implement bestpractices.

Requirements

Requirements :

• Bachelorsdegree in finance accounting or a related field. A relevantadvanced degree or professional certification (e.g. CPA) ispreferred.
• Provenexperience in financial reporting budgeting monthend closeprocesses and financial analysis.
• Indepthknowledge of accounting principles financial reporting standardsand regulatory requirements.
• Stronganalytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpretcomplex financial data and identify trends and patterns.
• Experiencein budgeting and financial planning and analysis (FP&A)including variance analysis and forecasting.
• Solidunderstanding of internal control principles and experience inimplementing and enhancing internal control processes.
• Proficientin financial analysis techniques and reporting tools.
• Advancedproficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting software.
• Excellentattention to detail and accuracy with a focus on deliveringhighquality financial reports and analysis.
• Strongproject management skills and the ability to lead and driveprojects to completion.
• Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability tocollaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of theorganization.
