Pay :  $76.97 - $94.17 depending upon years of experience

Job Summary :

The Physician Assistant is involved with various diagnostic and therapeutic modalities used to care for the medically and critically ill patient presenting in the Department of Surgery. Covered surgical sub-specialties include ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, see consults in ER, write preop / postop orders, perform minor procedures, splints, Foleys etc., and cover clinic and assist surgeons in OR. This job requires close interaction with surgical residents.

Requirements :

• Current NYS Registration as Physician Assistant Required
• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Completed NYS recognized Physician Assistant Training Program Required
• Previous Hospital experience Required
• Experience in Critical Care or Emergency Medicine Preferred
