Nursing Assistant I, Full Time 11p -7a Kahn 4 Morristown Medical Center

Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant I for the Kahn 4 Renal / Med / Surg Unit at Morristown Medical Center to 11PM - 7AM, every other weekend.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities :

• Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
• Assisting patients with daily activities
• Measuring and recording vital signs
• Administering basic treatments
• Helping to ensure a safe care environment
• Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
• Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills

Minimum Education :

High School diploma or equivalent is required

Minimum Experience :

1-2 years nursing assistant experience preferred

Licenses / Certifications :

• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
• BLS preferred
