The Support Staff position is the client's first point of contact and the clinic's administrator. The position requires :
Ability to work under pressure.
The ability and willingness to treat all patients with the utmost kindness and consideration in the most trying situations.
The ability to multitask in a very active environment.
Ability to relate to the public regardless of ethnic, religious and economic status.
Availability to work multiple evenings per week.
Experience in Insurance verification, MS Office
Required experience :
High School Diploma / GED required
BS / BA-preferred
- Spanish speaking-preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of electronic registration systems, electronic verification tools and web based applications.
- Experience with Third Party Payers web applications to check eligibility and authorization requirements.
- Knowledge of third party reimbursement requirements and regulations.
- Medicare, Medicaid and managed care requirements.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills. Good phone etiquette.
1 year experience in Insurance eligibility and authorizations in a medical office at least 2 years of experience as a receptionist in a medical practice and Spanish speaking is required.
Experience with Microsoft Excel is also required. Experience with Meditech is a plus.
Salary Range : $22.528 / hr - $23.774 / hr
