About The Position
Job Title : Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty : Computed Tomography (CT) / Radiologic Technologist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 10-hour days Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 1 year of radiologic / CT experience License : Kansas license required (can start with proof of application) Certifications : ARRT Must-Have : COVID Vaccine or Medical / Religious Exemption, Skills Checklist, Two Supervisory References Job Description : - Perform radiographic procedures to produce diagnostic images in the radiology department, emergency room, and surgery suite using portable techniques.
- Provide procedural-related patient care and education. - Maintain records and documentation for procedures. - Identify and support patient care needs, including addressing language barriers.
- Treat patients and families with dignity and respect, ensuring the confidentiality of patient records. - Interact professionally with patients and families, offering explanations and verbal reassurance as necessary.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate proficiency. - Position requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule during weeknights and weekends.
- Must possess a bachelor's or associate's degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field.
