Responsibilities : Assist with recruiting activities, including posting jobs, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, managing candidate flow in the ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), coordinating assessments, background checks and drug screens Handle new hire orientation, onboarding and offboarding tasks Ensure all HR paperwork is processed timely, accurately and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations Assist with benefits enrollment Coordinate employee events including monthly, quarterly and annual meetings Handle HR and office related administrative tasks Serve as first point of contact for employee inquiries and vendors Manage timekeeping records and systems for hourly employees Identify process improvements to streamline administrative burdens Maintain logs, documents and records Other duties as assigned Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Experience with HRIS, ATS systems preferred Candidates must be local to Northern VA / Metro DC area .
