About The Position
Job Title : Certified Operating Room Technician / Surgical Technician (CST) Job Specialty : Neuro OR CST Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : 1+ year License : Pending license not accepted Certifications : Certified through NBSTSA Must-Have : Strong NEURO OR experience;
Pediatrics experience preferred Job Description : Must be able to work through to January / February.- Required to work two out of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) based on facility policy.
- Calling out on a holiday may lead to immediate termination.- Time-off requests during December 26-31 are discouraged to meet staffing needs during the holiday season.
- Call required, to be discussed in the interview.- Shift times : 7 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm.- Neuro OR call requirements : 3-4 times per week (approximately 14-16 calls in a 6-week schedule).
- Orientation consists of 16 hours.- Average daily surgical cases : 80.- Charting system : Pyxis.- COVID-19 vaccine not required, flu vaccine required with no exemptions.
- Submissions require the completion of pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information.
- EMR experience : Minimum of 1-year experience with EPIC EMR required.- Modules are billable up to 16 hours and must be completed pre-start; recorded annually.
