Job Description :
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Social Worker to join a school district in Glendale, AZ. The ideal candidate will support students' social, emotional, and academic well-being, collaborating with educators, families, and the munity to provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to thrive.
As a School Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping students overe challenges and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students facing social, emotional, and academic challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create individualized support plans for students.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and remend appropriate interventions.
- Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution strategies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of social-emotional learning programs.
- Advocate for students' well-being and work with munity resources to provide additional support when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Valid Arizona state certification or licensure as a School Social Worker.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting.
- Strong munication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and outside agencies.
