Person County Government is seeking a Planning Director for the Planning and Zoning Department. This position is responsible for overseeing and directing the Planning Department of the County.
The role involves a blend of managerial, supervisory, and professional planning duties. Under administrative supervision, the Planning Director will develop and implement programs in alignment with organizational policies, and report major activities to executive-level administrators through conferences and detailed reports.
This position reports to the County Manager.
Hours : 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM; Monday - Friday with occasional night meetings
