Premium Concrete is hiring a Full Time Project Manager for our commercial concrete division in the Chicagoland area.

Goals : The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that all project documentation is processed to follow project plans, specifications, and contract requirements.

Purpose of the position : Act as a key part of our project management team ensuring that we have all current drawings, approved submittals, and RFI’s answered so that our field team is successful.

Organize and communicate effectively by understanding the client’s needs and present to our internal team. Work with vendors to ensure proper materials are ordered in timely manner with competitive pricing (ordering concrete, rebar, misc. materials).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Experience is required, no less than 2 years of experience as either an Assistant or Project Manager on projects within the construction industry;

a focus of Concrete Construction is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred, however, not required.
• Must possess the skills to organize drawings, use Procore, Bluebeam / PDF management.
• A self-starter that is detail oriented with the ability to complete multiple tasks with consistency and accuracy.
• Exceptional follow-up skills are required and the candidate should possess the ability to adapt to change.
• Communication skills include verbal as well as written. Daily use of phone, text and e-mail is required. PC skills include the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as the internet and familiarity with menu driven software.
• The capabilities to think ahead, plan work, recognize and resolve potential problems, along with the ability to learn quickly.
• Master organizer
