The Telemetry Unit department at Longmont United Hospital has 36 beds, we treat anything heart related. We are part of a small community hospital and fill the niche for step down and med / surg overflow with a variety of acuity patients on our floor, as well as cardiac cath recovery.
Our patient mix includes those with pacemaker, stroke, heart attack, arrythmia and those with medication needs. The culture is one of prevalent kindness where we embrace new associates.
We offer great schedules where new grads can learn. Being part of our team means you have good work ethic and bring the right attitude, because we can teach skill, but we cannot teach people to care for others.
As a Telemetry Registered Nurse at Longmont United Hospital you will assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient / family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient.
Promotes the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
