AMBULATORY INTERNAL MEDICINE OPPORTUNITY IN THE HEART OF THE MIDWEST. The University of Nebraska Medical Center is recruiting a dynamic physician for an ambulatory general Internal Medicine position located in Omaha, Nebraska.

The selected candidate will join a team of specialists with many years of experience in complex cases, providing exceptional care for adults.

Highlights of this opportunity include :

Outpatient only flexible scheduling (with two half days protected administrative / academic time). No nights or weekends.

Infrequent outpatient telephone call.

• Gradual build-up to manageable patient load in a team-based patient-centered medical home practice.
• Wide range of practice from annual checkups for young adults to chronic medical conditions.
• Collaborative culture and collegial environment with opportunities for personal and professional development.
• Preceptor supervision of students / residents in clinic is available if desired.

The successful candidate must be an MD / DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified / eligible in Internal Medicine.

Candidates should have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills along with enthusiasm for outpatient internal medicine.
