Job Description

Annual salary of $84,569 - $96,750

12 Month Contract

Purpose of the Job :

This role is responsible for overseeing and leading a Site Logistics Transformation within the Rochester Factory in readiness for the deployment of a new ERP solution. Specifically :

• Data purification & analysis of the Plan for Every Part (PFEP)
• Warehouse storage design & Assembly Point-of-Use (POU) design
• Machinery & equipment design and procurement
• Workforce & equipment planning
• Logistics process design
• Inventory transfer & rearrangement planning.
• Integration of supply chain requirements into warehouse design.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes :

• Execute Rotork Business System Audits in readiness for system implementation, develop GAP analysis detail and deliver & execute a programme to remove gaps prior to system deployment.
• Act as a point of contact for the D365 Implementation Programme and as the conduit between the programme and the Operations Function for the Logistics & Warehouse functional area.
• Coordinate / provide the relevant SME / functional resources as required to support delivery of the D365 / Target Operating Model transformation programme.
• Lead Site Leadership and SMEs through change management to adopt the core D365 operations solution.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts to define / validate / sign off requirements / deliverables to ensure our solution meets global best practice or local needs.
• Lead and support Business Process change within the Rotork Rochester operation to align to Business system design and required workflow.
• Lead Logistics architecture / layout design and deployment using 3rd party contractors or on-site resources.
• Hold & report upon the consolidated Operations view of progress against solution & business readiness for functional area.
• Maintain and develop business process maps for Logistics operations.

Qualifications

Essential

• Minimum 5 years working in Logistics / Warehouse management and Logistics Engineering.
• Experience of manufacturing material management and replenishment procedures.
• Infrastructure change experience.
• Comfort working in a high-pressure environment, in agile and dynamic way to tackle unexpected & emerging issues.
• Demonstrable track record, and sufficient gravitas and experience, to deliver positive, high impact business outcomes and change.
• Experience managing senior internal & external stakeholders to provide information, drive decisions and resolve issues.
