Description

  • Looking for an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join the team in May 2025.
  • Responsible for project support of the mechanical effort on Oil & Gas projects including : Compressor StationsMeter StationsPump StationsPipeline InstallationNatural Gas Processing PlantsCentral Gathering Facilities
  • Responsible for working directly with fellow members of the mechanical engineering team & mechanical design team for project execution support.
  • Ability to travel to support field work activities (including site commissioning).
  • Engineering experience including : P&IDsProcess / Hydraulic CalculationsEngineering Evaluations
  • Ability and willingness to take direction from senior staff and ask question to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Review & preparation of line lists & equipment lists.
  • Review of project isometrics to make sure they comply with project requirements set forth by the client.
  • Ability to effectively communicate within project team to resolve project issues.
  • Work with Mechanical Engineering team for successful execution of projects while continuing to learn and develop.

This position is based on a hybrid work schedule and will require in-office work 3 days per week.

Qualifications

Essential skills and experience :

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering with a graduation by Spring of 2025 from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program is required.
  • Engineering experience in the design of mechanical engineering systems for non-commercial, heavy industrial plants (power plant - essential, oil & gas, or chemical - valued), with a focus on integrated, detailed system design for new plants, modifications, or replacements;

Experience must include the selection of equipment, piping materials, control philosophy, and the preparation of supporting calculations and specifications.

  • Oil and Gas industry experience in midstream and / or upstream.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Equipment and Piping systems.
  • Customer service oriented with a passion for high customer satisfaction and achieving project execution excellence.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff including senior management, clients, and other disciplines.
  • Ability to analyze, define, and solve problems.
  • Ability to prioritize workflow, multitask, meet deadlines, and remain flexible.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Salary Range

$72,000 - $82,000
