ConMet has an opportunity for a Project Manager as part of our eMobility team based at our corporate office in Vancouver, Washington.

The Project Manager for the eMobility business unit is responsible for defining and managing the technical, timing and financial execution of multiple projects.

Utilizing best practice project management skills to assist our team to facilitate customer product design and development from concept through to completion and into production.

This role requires working in an office environment (not hybrid or remote) at ConMet's corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Washington.

Non-local candidates must be open to relocation (relocation assistance available.

Key Duties

  • Lead cross-functional teams, both internal and external, in the development of new e-Mobility products and / or features
  • Coordinate and manage the ECN (engineering change notice) procedure in compliance to the ConMet release procedure
  • Support the coordination of sourcing and managing key suppliers
  • Works with Quality Assurance personnel to ensure that parts produced from tooling are of acceptable quality
  • Create and maintain project schedule and milestone tracking
  • Creates and manages budgets related to development and product cost ensuring target financial goals are achieved
  • Identify and resolve issues / risks using established project management tools and techniques
  • Drive project work to completion, using good judgment in determining when to escalate issues to management
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and reliable

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration
  • Three (3) or more years of project management experience
  • Significant Program Management and / or Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electric Vehicle (EV) experience
  • Electrical and Mechanical systems experience
  • Commercial Vehicle and / or Automotive experience

Compensation & Benefits

New hires generally start between $81,475 - $116,393. The full salary range for the position, across all geographies is, $81,475 - $139,671 per year.

The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time.

Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.

  • Targeted annual bonus is based on company performance to objectives during the fiscal plan year which runs from October 1 September 30.
