Responsibilities $25, SIGN ON BONUS ED RN - Emergency Department Trauma Level I Full Time 3x12 hrs. - Days / Nights / Mids or Nights only Position Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department, Trauma Level I Location : The George Washington University Hospital, Washington, DC Position Type : Full-Time Department : Emergency Department Level : Trauma Level I Job Summary : As a Registered Nurse in our Level I Trauma Center's Emergency Department, you will be at the forefront of providing critical care to patients with a variety of urgent and life-threatening medical conditions.

You will work alongside a dedicated team of medical professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to patients and their families during critical times.

Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a highly dynamic and challenging emergency department setting.

Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement care for patients across a wide range of conditions. Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses to treatments.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.

Qualifications Qualifications : BSN or currently enrolled. DC RN License, or eligibility At least 1 year of clinical experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.

Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification within 1 year of hire Exceptional clinical skills and judgment.

Strong ability to work under pressure and react effectively in emergency situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
