Job Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Wholesale and Business to Business to drive business growth through strategic partnerships and effective sales strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, wholesale operations, and business development within the automotive parts industry, particularly in growing insurance, MSO (Multi-Shop Operator), and fleet businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive wholesale and business-to-business sales growth, with a focus on expanding market presence and revenue streams in insurance, MSO, and fleet segments, leveraging insights from market analysis and customer feedback.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels within insurance, MSO, and fleet segments to maximize market penetration and revenue generation, leveraging existing relationships and industry connections.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key wholesale customers and business partners in insurance, MSO, and fleet sectors, addressing their needs and fostering long-term loyalty through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback within insurance, MSO, and fleet segments to identify opportunities for product development, service enhancements, and process improvements, driving continuous innovation and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction, leveraging strong communication and project management skills.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback within insurance, MSO, and fleet segments to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement, leveraging proficiency in CRM software and business analytics tools.
  • Travel at least 25% of the time to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit distribution partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in wholesale sales management and business development within the automotive parts industry, with a demonstrated ability to grow insurance, MSO, and fleet businesses.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, demonstrated through innovative approaches to sales strategy and business development.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, drawing on examples from successful partnerships within insurance, MSO, and fleet sectors.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction, informed by insights from successful implementations in insurance, MSO, and fleet businesses.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools and technologies, supported by experience in leveraging technology for sales management and analytics.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this position based on job experience, education level, global geographic region, etc : $120,000-$225,000 with additional variable compensation potential through commissions.
