Swoon is actively seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join their growing team!
RELOCATION IS AVAILABLE!!
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Develop Maintenance and Operational procedures for the FPS / FAS / HGMS systems
- Develop training packages and plans for technician
- Provide guidance and support for new fab designs or ongoing retrofits
- Work with third party design vendors to review concept designs and designs in progress
- Work closely with site EHS team as well as Risk Management teams
- Utilize the CMMS of record for planning / scheduling all work
What's required?
- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to fire protection or an equivalent engineering degree
- Knowledge of industry standards, codes and regulations
- Experience with processes of design review, specification, development of design standards, and submittal review
- Knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems commissioning
