Warehouse Specialist
The Warehouse Specialist 1 is essential to timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Under general supervision, the Warehouse Specialist 1 will be required to perform all manner of material handling, product picking, special labeling and packing using handheld technology and inventory software systems. The successful athlete must accurately receive, locate and / or pick correct quantities of materials and or finished goods. Must follow all written instructions per individual order. This position requires sustained moderate physical activity throughout the shift, including ability to crouch, climb, push, pull, reach, lift and carry. Warehouse Specialist Athletes will be assigned in varying work centers and it is essential that they are able to read their schedule and report to the correct work center on time for each scheduled shift.
Essential Job Functions :
- Receives finished goods from assembly. Verifies description, quality, quantity, and paperwork. Reports all deficiencies to leadership.
- Restocks primary and secondary stock locations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Must enter data into computer database maintaining a very high level of accuracy.
- Fills customer orders from stock using a tablet computer in a timely, accurate manner and reviews items for final quality.
- Fulfills manufacturing departments Bill of Material (BOM) and supply orders and deliver to appropriate work center.
- Maintains a 98% picking accuracy.
- Properly packaging all product, including completion of special packaging requirements, determination of most efficient and economical packaging option, and ensure proper packing.
- Participates in cycle counts and year-end physical inventory.
- Performs general housekeeping and department six sigma activities.
- Adheres to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures and Safety Requirements.
- Treats others with respect and conducts themselves in a positive and inclusive manner daily.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
