AAM15 Management, a multi-state hospitality company headquartered in Burlington, MA, has a great opportunity for an experienced Food and Beverage leader.
The Regional Food and Beverage Director is a hands-on position responsible for multiple food and beverage operations throughout the Northeast.
This position is first and foremost responsible for ensuring their home property is operating at its max operating potential.
Secondary duties include supporting the planning, development, implementation, administration, and evaluation of Food and Beverage (F& B) programs and initiatives for AAM15 Management Hotels Core F& B programs.
These programs initiatives encompass several F& B functions such as menu development, improving guest satisfaction, program / process / systems improvement, financial results, performance management, project management, coaching, and quality assurance across the specific region.
This individual will also improve business performance through the building and the leveraging of property-level F& B leadership and associates with a major focus on development of the regional bench strength.
The leader in the role must be able to think provocatively and act decisively; seamlessly moving from big-picture, enterprise level thinking to day-to-day operations executing to deliver on bottom line business results.
Travel is required for specific corporate meetings and events throughout the year.
On occasion you will be asked to visit and audit hotels in the assigned area or support the regions staffing needs with leadership responsibilities for large VIP events.
For the year, we expect this position to travel extensively as needed.
Core Responsibilities :
- Provide F B leadership and direction in the assigned region resulting in a superior guest experience, overall associate satisfaction and engagement, and delivering on financial commitments to stakeholders / shareholders.
- Partner directly with the VP of Ops in the continuous development of new ideas, systems, menu development and increasing guest satisfaction.
- Partner with VP of Ops and other F B Directors on development of industry leading F& B initiatives, programs and products.
- Work closely with the VP of Operations to create plans and appropriately prepare F& B operations to deliver results.
- Conduct property level audits in the region and provide feedback and follow up to teams at the hotels based on these visits.
- Exceptional leadership skills in developing, inspiring, mentoring and training the F+B Teams.
- Work closely with local, state and governmental organizations in enforcing all applicable liquor laws.
- Work closely with the F B Directors, Executive Chefs and F+B Teams to ensure compliance and or follow up on the Brand and AAM15 Management Hotels program and visits.
- Demonstrate and instill a sense of character, integrity and quality to enhance the continuing long-range growth and profitability of the F & B operations in the region and the enterprise.
Create a SERVICE CULTURE through solid plans and action using guest feedback.
Hilton, Marriott and IHG experience is preferred.
Requirements :
- A bachelor's degree is preferred; preference for Business, Management, or Hospitality. An MBA or Master's degree is highly desirable
- The successful candidate should possess a broad and diversified food and beverage background in a national or regional food services-driven organization with multiple locations.
- It is expected that this leader will have experience with Culinary, Beverage, F & B programs, operations, and systems with a focus on large hourly, part-time and contract work forces that tend to be transient.
- Minimum of 5-7 years restaurant F & B operations, with a proven knowledge and understanding of F B business and operations
- Multi-unit restaurant or multi-unit property leadership experience highly preferred
- Must have ability to work within a corporate environment and as part of a multi-disciplined team of Food Beverage managers, hotel managers and executives
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Office and hospitality software management systems
- Must have working knowledge of POS systems and back-office reporting systems
- Must have expertise in the profitability analysis and budgeting
- Exhibits strong problem-solving skills in long term and immediate situations
- Experience with the following software preferred : Avendra Purchasing, Micros Symphony, Ibuy
- Balance the needs of the company, the owner and investors.
