Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Engineer to join our team in Kirtland AFB, New Mexico
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) responsible for program planning focused on supporting program-level technical meetings and providing TDL Status Reports.
They provide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management across all customer domains as specified by the contract and consistent with negotiated Service Level Agreements (SLA).
They recommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirements and support the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.
They design and implement security-related products on an enterprise level, then integrate products into the current environment.
They participate in the Change Management process, including reviewing Change Requests and assisting in assessing the security impact of proposed changes.
They monitor System Recovery processes to ensure security features and functions are properly restored and functioning correctly following an outage, and work on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer's production IT environment.
The ISSE III is a senior role with extensive experience in Scaled Agile methodologies for development of enterprise-level secure systems.
The ISSE III supervises and mentors subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff. They report to the Program Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
They collaborate and work with other ISSE’s.
Basic Qualifications :
High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree
A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.
DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification. Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline. 2 years of position-specific relevant experience.
Experience with IA tools in audit collection, audit review, audit management, and with SIEM software.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience and / or certifications associated with RMF, ICD 503, NIST SP800-53 or DCID 6 / 3. Experience in current authorization practices, particularly within the DoD.
Windows, Linux, UNIX, Cisco, SQL or Oracle databases, virtualized systems, Red Hat Enterprise License (RHEL) Linux 7, ACAS, Tenable, and one or more SIEM certifications.
Clearance Requirements :
Must be a US Citizen
Must have an active TS / SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements :
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
For all positions requiring access to technology / software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.
