Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure the safe and effective use of medications
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Dispense and monitor medications according to professional standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide medication education to patients and healthcare professionals
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care decisions
- Oversee and manage pharmacy operations, including inventory control
- Maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications :
- Hold a Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Possess a valid Indiana state pharmacist license or be eligible for licensure
- Demonstrate robust clinical knowledge and a deep understanding of pharmaceutical care principles
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Showcase the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Be detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Embrace a customer service-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for patient care
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is considered advantageous
Requirements :
- Hold a pharmacy degree from an institution accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)
- Have completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency or possess equivalent hospital practice experience
- Possess or be eligible for pharmacy licensure in the state of Indiana
