We are currently seeking an experienced (1st
Shift) Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Bridgeview, IL.
Job Description :
- Inspect & document measurement results for First Piece layout approvals.
- Inspects incoming, work-in-process, and finished goods by validating conformance to customer drawing specifications / GDT.
- Conducts visual and measurement tests according to company guidelines
- Operates Brown & Sharpe CMM (working knowledge of PC-DMIS)
- Perform inspection gage setup and teardown for production.
- Able to lift and move parts up to 30lbs
Requirements and Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- At least 1-3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or similar role in a metals manufacturing environment.
- Must be detailed and multi-task oriented
- Geometry and computer skills
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T, and use of various inspection equipment
- Ability to work 4 (10hr) days a week Monday Thursday. Friday and Saturday OT, as required
