DevOps Engineer
What does a successful DevOps Engineer do at Fiserv?
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work on building compelling user interface applications that enables end to end capabilities as part of our autonomous, multi-functional teams.
You will develop solutions that help our software applications to deliver on quality and agility. You will collaborate with a solid understanding and practical experience of software development life cycles, with particular emphasis on release engineering functions.

What you will do :
- Develop and push good Dev ops practices to better productivity within the company.
- Automate provisioning of infrastructure, including installation and configuration of third-party components, to ensure efficient delivery of stable dev, test, and staging environments.
- Design, implement, monitor, and maintain data pipelines to allow development teams to deploy solutions into dev, test, and staging environments.
- Collaborate with development teams and leadership daily to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in lower environments and processes.
- Lead and guide usage of DevOps tools utilized by development teams and participate in a SCRUM environment.
What you will need to have :
- US Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or related field or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of Build and Release Engineering experience with building continuous integration pipelines.
- 6+ years experience in using Git and DevOps (ADO or GitLab or GitHub), Build Tools (Jenkins or TeamCity), and Collaboration Tools (Jira, Rally, Confluence, and Crucible).
- 3-4 years of experience with : Scripting (Python, Bash, Powershell)
What would be great to have :
- Proficiency with multiple scripting languages.
- Containerization knowledge would be nice (Docker / Kubernetes).
- 1-2 years of experience deploying on prem and cloud.
- 2-4 years of experience with Server maintenance such as creation, security, patching.
- 5 years experience with Bitbucket, Nexus, JFrog, Harness, GitHub Enterprise, Saltstack, Ansible playbook, ADO, Windows, Linux, SQL
