This is a role well suited to anambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a CustomerService Engineer (Union), you will be responsible for :

  • You will beservicing Imaging Equipment in New York Metro area. Customer ServiceEngineer Level based on prior experience.
  • You are in adedicated on-site, customer-facing role that primarily installs, services,maintains and modifies Siemens’ imaging equipment.
  • You are the"Face of Siemens" to the customer.
  • You supportthe CT & MR Modalityinitially, withpotential to cross train into other modalities in the future.
  • You areflexible and willing to work different shifts and On-Call rotations as businessneeds dictate, including willingness to work overtime as required.

Advanced notice will be provided for anyshift changes.

You report tothe Customer Success Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions.

  • You haveknowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, andmodifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimalsupervision.
  • You haveprevious experience with the desired Medical Imaging Equipment : CT & MRModality
  • You have theability and experience to establish and maintain proper business relationshipswith customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative dutiestimely and accurately.
  • You have astrong background working with electronics and are proficient in the use ofservice tools and service test equipment
  • You haveproficient PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365 -Outlook, Excel,SharePoint, etc.)

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • MinimumTechnical Degree or equivalent experience
  • Living within 40 miles of Manhattan area
  • Strongelectronics background and computer skills required
  • 3-5 Years offield service experience is desired
  • Ability towork both individually and in an established team setting
  • You have strongcustomer service and communication skills
  • Ability totravel and provide service in assigned geography; willingness to participate inan on-call rotation after training and certification
  • Validdriver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and gooddriving record required
  • PhysicalRequirements : Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist / head), walking,ladder / stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work,standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and abilityto work alone.
