Job Title : Low Voltage Designer

Location : Tampa, FL (relocation assistance provided if needed)

Duration : Permanent, Direct Hire

Salary Range : $80-140,000 (Based on Experience)

Summary :

Verigent's client is seeking talented Low Voltage Designers to join their growing team in Tampa, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to build their careers with a company that offers strong growth potential and internal mobility. Ideal candidates must be polished communicators and bring proven design experience across Low Voltage, AV, DAS, and / or Fire systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop shop-drawing level design specifications for low-voltage systems, including access control, CCTV, structured cabling, AV, iDAS, and fire alarm systems.
  • Produce designs using Revit (preferred) or AutoCAD; must be capable of creating designs from scratch, not just as-builts.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet scope, compliance, and project specifications.
  • Contribute to a wide variety of projects, with preference given to experience in multifamily, healthcare, data centers, or stadiums.
  • Work onsite in Tampa, FL office, Monday–Thursday (optional remote work on Fridays).

Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated design experience across Low Voltage, AV, DAS, or Fire Alarm scopes.
  • Revit proficiency required; CAD accepted if no Revit.
  • Strong communication skills and ambition to grow within the company.
