The Opportunity

The Senior Advanced Primary Care (APC) Recruiter will play a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants), clinical staff, and key leadership positions for our Primary Care vertical.

Although the bulk of this role will be focused on provider recruiting, we’re looking for a skilled recruiter who is willing to roll up their sleeves and support where needed most.

This position requires a strategic and proactive approach to recruitment, with a focus on building strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders, ensuring a seamless and positive hiring experience.

Currently, our Talent Acquisition team is made up of five recruiters, who are responsible for our urgent care and corporate office recruitment.

This will be our first recruiter dedicated to our Primary Care function, who, in partnership with the Senior Director for Talent Acquisition and Chief Medical Officer, will play an exciting part in building process, documentation, marketing materials, and determining recruitment KPIs.

Strong candidates will have a proven track record of attracting and hiring providers at various levels and environments (hospital, urgent care, private practice) and an interest in being part of a growing team.

Your Impact

  • Recruitment Strategy : Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top primary care providers and clinical staff.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in healthcare recruitment.
  • Candidate Sourcing & Engagement : Identify and engage with potential candidates through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
  • Conduct thorough screenings and assessments to ensure candidates meet the required qualifications, licensure, and fit with our organizational culture.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified primary care providers.
  • Candidate Coordination & Experience :
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, both in-person and virtual, with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the interview process.
  • Assist hiring managers in making informed hiring decisions by providing detailed candidate assessments and recommendations.
  • Collaboration and Relationship Management :
  • Partner with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, residency programs, and professional organizations to source potential candidates.
  • Act as a liaison between candidates and the organization, ensuring effective communication and a smooth hiring process.
  • Data Management and Reporting :
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics and performance to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Onboarding Support :
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure all pre-hire requirements and onboarding tasks are completed.

Who You Are

  • Experience in similar roles : 5+ years of healthcare recruitment, with focus on primary care.
  • Strong provider recruiter : Proven track record of successfully recruiting and hiring primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.

Equipped with a rolodex and network of providers throughout New England.

  • Exceptional hiring partn er : Ability to quickly build and successfully maintain hiring manager and stakeholder relationships, leading with empathy and understanding.
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal) and cross collaborator : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Innovative problem-solver : Proactive recruiter who thinks outside of the box to fill roles effectively and efficiently.
  • Analytical and strategic operator : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Able to collect, interpret, and make decisions based on data.

  • Knowledge of healthcare industry and primary care space : Familiarity with value-based care models.
  • Technically savvy : Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically SharePoint, Word, and Excel. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies / sourcing platforms.
  • Committed and mission-driven : Dedication to continuous improvement, operating with a service mindset, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Trustworthy : Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle all candidate and employee information with discretion.
