United Trades of America is looking for LOCAL APPRENTICE ELECTRICIANS WITH CONDUIT EXPERIENCE

Job Description :

We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Apprentice Electricians with Conduit Experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical work, a solid understanding of conduit systems, and a passion for learning and advancing their skills in the electrical trade.

Responsibilities :

Conduit Installation : Proficiently install, bend, and thread conduits of various types and sizes according to electrical specifications and project requirements.

Blueprint Reading : Interpret electrical drawings and blueprints to determine the layout and installation of conduit systems.

Wiring and Termination : Assist in the wiring and termination of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and safety standards.

Material Handling : Responsible for the proper handling and storage of electrical materials, tools, and equipment.

Collaboration : Work closely with journeyman electricians and other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Problem Solving : Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, proposing effective solutions with attention to quality and efficiency.

Continuous Learning : Actively seek opportunities for professional development and advancement within the electrical trade.

Qualifications :

Experience : Prior experience in conduit bending and installation is required. Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring, and terminations is a plus.

Experience running / bending EMT conduit 1 / 2" to 1" is REQUIRED .

Certifications : OSHA 10 or 30 certification is desirable.

Skills :

  • Proficient in conduit bending, threading, and installation 1 / 2" to 1"
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic understanding of electrical codes and regulations.

Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and perform duties requiring physical strength and endurance.

TOOLS : M ust have hand tools and impact driver and proper PPE.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND CHECK
