2nd Shift Painters
to join our growing team! Located in Rice Lake, WI since 1932, Johnson Truck Bodies is well-known for manufacturing refrigerated truck bodies and Trail King Trailer transportation equipment.

The Position :
The Painter will be responsible for successfully priming and painting prepared surfaces to an automotive level finish on our Trail King Trailer line.
They will be responsible for mixing the coatings and catalyst according to specifications, understand proper chemical disposal, and be competent in the use of automotive style spray paint equipment.
Requirements :
- Formal training or 1-year Automotive Painting Experience.
- Proper use of coating measuring equipment, i.e. wet mill gauge, dry thickness gauge
- Proper inspection of painted units for quality of workmanship
- Must be able to pass respirator clearance requirement
Responsibilities :
- Operates various hand-held pneumatic and electric power tools and wrenches.
- Works with various building materials including steel, aluminum, wood, fiberglass, composites, small fasteners and fittings, adhesives, and oil-based products.
- Supplies area with these materials using an overhead crane, forklift, hand / powered carts or carrying materials by hand.
- Observes all safety and security procedures.
- Performs other routine duties as necessary.
- Fill out paint usage reports
