Our Client Is Currently Seeking A MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR for It's Stable Organization in Bethlehem, PA. Local Candidates Only!
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR Status - Direct Hire Degree - AA / GED. Experience Will Work Location - Bethlehem, PA Experience - 4+ Years of Experience Working In Manufacturing Environment, Stable Job History, Lean Six Sigma Experience Shift - Day Shift but Willing To Work OT & Some Saturdays
This job will have the following responsibilities :
- Maintain current technical documentation relative to PLC’s, instrumentation and equipment (. PLC ladder logic, blueprints, manuals, SOPs, maintenance procedures, preventative maintenance, inventory control and parts purchasing).
- Actively participate with Operations in plant improvement initiatives. Ensure all mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and structural repair and improvements are performed to industry and Saputo standards.
- Evaluate Maintenance personnel skills and abilities and establish a training program for development within the Department.
Coach and develop maintenance employees to achieve continuous improvement in performance levels.
- Supervision of the day-to-day maintenance functions and personnel, including scheduling of labor to meet plant and equipment requirements, and assigning responsibilities and tasks.
- Enforces parts room process adherence
- Partners with Plant Management on production line and facility improvements.
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ of maintenance experience, in a production environment.
- Ability to lead, coach and train the Maintenance team in order to develop the necessary technical skills and knowledge to support operations relative to equipment reliability.
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze mechanical / electrical / process control system functions, in order to determine the most efficient method of resolving malfunctions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. MP2 and SAP helpful.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
