A Medical Device client in Orange County is looking to id entify and hire a Packaging Technician / Quality Technician on a contract basis .
The Packaging Technician / Quality Technician will p rimarily be responsible for performing quality functions on pre-packaging and final packaged products, as well as assisting with the packaging process.
The schedule is Friday-Tuesday, 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm.
The Packaging Technician / Quality Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to :
- Tyvek Pouching and Pre-Sterilization Packaging.
- Producing and verifying labels .
- Foil Sorting & Pouching of Lenses.
- Performing Final Lens Assembly & Packaging.
- Insertion Device Processing, Packaging & Sterilization.
- ERP system work order data entry and closure.
- Training of manufacturing personnel on packaging processes.
- Read ing , comprehend ing , and follow ing documents related to manufacturing, inspection and quality systems for compliance, and implementation.
- Verify ing production process via auditing / observation and testing.
- Inspect ing process output and product parameters against specifications.
- Ensur ing routine compliance with process steps and proper documentation of records.
- Tak ing initiatives for the process improvements changes as related to manufactured components and finished products for LAL.
- Perform ing incoming inspection and lot control activities of materials and parts.
- Develop ing inspection techniques and transferring to production and everyday use.
- Provid ing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) training to relevant department.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma .
- 1 year experience working in Packaging and / or Quality.
- Experience within a medical device company or regulated industry preferred.
- Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel .
- Prior experience of working in cleanroom environment and / or medical device manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Professional, responsible, energetic, and accountable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Individual must be Quality oriented and possess a natural ability to pay attention to details.
