Senior Manager of Inventory and Planning

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As the Senior Manager of Inventory and Inventory Forecasting, this role will be directly accountable for strategy and optimization of enterprise-wide inventory levels across 2800 clinics (currently $3B spend) to meet patient needs while optimizing inventory levels.

This role will be heavily involved in leading our inventory strategy across the enterprise including process and technology advancements to advance patient care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing Inventory Strategies : You'll develop and implement inventory strategies that align with business goals, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet patient needs and minimize supply disruptions.
  • Collaboration with Procurement and Suppliers : You'll work closely with sourcing and vendor management to ensure we have the right strategic partnerships for inventory fulfillment.

This includes negotiating with suppliers and supporting clinic operations to maintain optimal stock levels while reducing risk.

  • Inventory Forecasting : You'll lead the development and implementation of inventory forecasting models across the enterprise, using historical data and market trends that will be leveraged in supplier negotiations and binding commitments.
  • Inventory Resilience : You'll oversee the enterprise-wide management of inventory, including best practices such as PFEP, MRP, ABC / XYZ analysis, identifying safety stock, excess and obsolete inventory and leading replenishment processes.
  • Reporting and KPIs : You'll establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turns, fill rates and material availability to track inventory performance and provide regular reports to executive leadership.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Must have at least 6+ years in a comparable inventory management role
  • Proficiency in Utilizing PFEP (Plan for Every Part) Methodology
  • Proficiency in Utilizing MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Methodology
  • IMS (Inventory Management System) Selection, Implementation and Rollout experience required

Travel : Up to 25%

Salary / Wage Range : $91,000.00-$133,700.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
