About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 36-40 hours per week Experience : 18 months required;
2 years preferred License : Florida State License Certifications : ARRT, AHA ACLS, and BLS; RCIS preferred Must-Have : Experience in two of the following four modalities : Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro Job Description : - Seeking a team player with experience in Cardiac Cath and / or Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro.
- First-time travelers accepted. - Weekend shifts can be discussed with the manager. - Floating required to meet facility needs, including floating to sister facilities within a 20-mile radius.
- Orientation includes 16 hours with EKG and Pharm tests required during this period (two attempts max for each, with no remediation for retests).
- All travelers must be nicotine-free; a negative 10 Panel + Nicotine Drug screen is required within 12 months of the start.
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are mandatory, with medical / religious exemptions only.- Seeking a Scrub Technologist specializing in the Cath Lab, with additional experience in Interventional Radiology / Vascular / Neuro preferred.
- Call requirement is based on the unit's needs and will be discussed with the Nurse Manager.- Additional time-sensitive modules need prioritization once confirmed for an assignment.
