Director of Public Relations and Communications

Position Overview :
This is an exciting role to join the Mosaic team, reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, the Director of Public Relations & Communication is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the Mosaic communications strategies.
You will play a key role in leading organization-wide initiatives for the communications team while collaborating at the strategic and tactical levels with marketing, branding and digital teams.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and mentor the communications team while fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight to team members, ensuring the achievement of internal and external communications objectives
- Create and implement comprehensive communications strategies and plans aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborate with internal partners and lead the development and execution of communications campaigns to enhance brand visibility, support fundraising efforts, and drive client referrals
- Serve on the Mission Advancement Editorial Team to develop Mosaic's communication strategies and lead the creative development of materials / resources.
- Oversee all aspects of internal and external communications
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and implement data-driven optimizations to maximize ROI
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all communications channels
- Define and implement Mosaic's brand / identity standards to ensure clear and consistent articulation of Mosaic's desired image and position
- Support the communications needs of Mosaic's affiliates
- Stay abreast of industry trends and conduct market research to identify growth opportunities
- Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making
Requirements
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a related field, with at least 5 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Proven experience in budget and financial management.
